Growing up in the Portland-Metro area, Samedy attended and graduated from Aloha High School in 1989..
After high school Samedy attended college at The Phoenix Institute of Technology in Arizona. There he studied Architectural Design and Computer Aided Drafting graduating "Magna Cum Laude" with highest honors.
Back in the Portland-Metro area, Samedy secured a job at Living Design in Vancouver, Wa. He used this opportunity to hone his knowledge about design and construction.
In 1994, his desire to learn more led him to a position at Claremont Development, Inc. There Samedy was able to use his previous knowledge of design and construction to perform actual problem solving out on the job site in areas such as Forest Height and Bethany. He specialized in assisting during the last 4 phases of development. In addition, Samedy was instrumental in designing the award winning Claremont's Golf Course. This was an exciting new area of architectural design and development, and his knowledge of construction and building requirements grew immensely. Samedy stayed at Claremont, learning as much as possible, so that in the future he could venture out with his own career goals.
During his employment at Claremont and with their full consent, Samedy started his own business on the side. Samedy began designing and building residential homes, additions, and remodels for numerous clients. In addition, Samedy also did consulting work for those clients who chose to act as general contractors during their building projects.
In May of 1999, Samedy had the opportunity to design for Keys and Schuler Homes, a large development company that mainly deals with town homes, large tract home subdivisions and sizeable custom homes. This launched his design career with many large builders because Samedy was able to design items to meet their needs in a very timely fashion under strict and challenging requirements
